Process

1. Attend a DISCOVER WHITEFIELD event. You may schedule a school tour or attend an Open House, Information Night or Kindergarten Round-up to learn more about Whitefield and classical education.
   
   
2. Read the informational materials provided by Whitefield regarding classical education.
   
   
3. Complete an Application for Enrollment and submit it to the school office along with the following:
   1. The non-refundable application fee as detailed in the Tuition and Fees schedule
   2. Copies of standardized test scores and report cards from the past two years
   3. Copy of birth certificate (Kindergarten only)
   
   
4. You will be contacted by the school office to schedule the student assessment. Assessments take place beginning in March at the school. Assessments taken in the spring are conducted on Tuesday afternoons at 3:30 pm. Assessments in the summer are conducted at the school on Tuesday mornings at 8:00 am.
   
   
5. After student assessment has been completed and processed, Whitefield will contact you to schedule a parent interview with the Headmaster.
   
   
6. Final decisions regarding student acceptance and grade level are made by the Headmaster.
   
   
7. Parents will be notified in a timely manner in writing of an admissions decision after completion of these steps. If accepted, parents will receive a Transfer of Records form to obtain records from the student’s previous school. Responses accepting or declining an offer of admission should be received in the school office within two weeks. Acceptance of an offer of admission should be demonstrated by payment of the enrollment fee. Should you elect to decline an offer of admission, we would appreciate receiving written notification.
   
   
8. Enrollment is not considered final until the following items are received:
   1. Tuition Agreement
   2. Records from student’s previous school
   3. Health History form and Immunization Record
   4. Emergency Contact form
   5. Standard Consent and Release form
